Good morning! I’ve
got something a little different for you today.
I’m a creature of habit.
I’ve got a routine for when I get up, when I eat lunch, when I go to bed... I even warm up the same exact way every time I play basketball.
So when life feels uncertain, I get a little tense.
Maybe you can relate…
For weeks, months, maybe even years, you’ve been doing the same things the same way…

That verse carried me through my first attempt at exercise.
There I was, 300+ pounds, standing on my old high school track. I thought, “I’ll just walk a
lap to warm up before I jog.”
Halfway through my warm-up… I was out of breath.
I thought I was too far gone. Too heavy. Too late.
But I stayed on track. Literally.
Even though my routine used to be Netflix and snacks, not laps and sneakers.
My goal was to lose 50 pounds.
I didn’t see myself losing 115.
That shift happened when I embraced two
things:
