Since I'm on a roll with
caffeine (did you read my message yesterday?), let's continue the fun and how it affects fat cells...
I know the "chemical police" won't like this, but I'm going to share my latest creamers I enjoy with my coffee (I also like "switching up" my creamers). My current lineup:
- Chobani's Confetti Birthday Cake (first
time trying this one just yesterday and I'm a big fan)
- Coffemate's Snickers (mentioned this yesterday)
- Coffeemate's No Added Sugar Cinnamon Coffee Cake
During the summer, I'll enjoy a decaf iced coffee.
Now speaking of coffee...
A recent study published in Clinical Nutrition evaluated the associations between changes in coffee and caffeine consumption and fat tissue changes.
It's not just any study, either. This study used 6 years of
data.
And...
The data was based on men and women AT LEAST 55 years of age.
The results?
Lower body fat was evident for participants who drank coffee.
And...
The authors found that shifting from no/low to moderate consumption of coffee was associated with a decline in VAT (visceral adipose tissue - which is
body fat deep inside the belly, wrapped around the organs, including the liver and intestines.), trunk fat, and total fat.
The findings suggest that moderate levels of coffee could become a part of the weight management strategy among older people with obesity.
Enjoy
your coffee. :)
Oh yeah...
There is yet better news for coffee drinkers...
Latest studies have found that one tiny tweak to your coffee puts your body into fat-burning mode for the rest of the
day.
Imagine combining this with what we already know from the study above...
This coffee trick takes less than 10 seconds, yet it instantly cranks up your metabolism and boosts your health, energy, and well-being at the same time!
Here's how to "upgrade" your coffee to help with your goals
To not just looking better, but feeling better,
