Love seeing headlines like this on magazines at the store...
"Taste Just Like Soda Pop! Breakthrough Korean Fruit Drink Melts Belly Fat Without Dieting"
Ugh.
Yet, everywhere in the store, multiple people were at least 30+lbs overweight...
And that's with information at our fingertips including detoxes and cleanses promising a unicorn but delivering a donkey...
... much like this mysterious Korean Fruit Drink lol.
I'm betting these folks may have tried one (or several of these in the past).
But they're not the only ones...
Confession: I tried a cleanse way back in 2001 or 2002. And you know what?
I hated it.
There were way too many restrictions...
No caffeine (sorry, but I like my
coffee too much and my day starts at 4am), no dairy, no red meat, no processed foods (let's be real here - this can be hard to do when you suddenly have a busy day or something unexpected comes up)
Plus, I even had to avoid certain fruits and veggies!
I'm sorry, but what kind of
plan requires you to avoid ANY fruits or veggies?
Now here was the kicker...
I had to drink this "cleanse" drink twice a day. It tasted like a mixture of orange juice, chunky apple sauce, and just plain evil.
I lasted 3 days before bingeing on a huge plate of beef nachos at a Mexican restaurant lol.
Here's one of the best lessons I learned from my own mistakes...
If you feel you need to "suffer" on any plan whether it's a "cleanse" OR "detox, don't do it. It's not worth
it.
One of my "mottos" is that I'll never make my coaching clients do something I wouldn't be willing to do...
So when my older clients ask for a "Focus and lose a lot of weight like NOW!" kind of plan, I send them this:
How "cheat foods" spark metabolism
They loved it because it included foods they already had in their fridge and pantry. It was simply about
combining them in specific ways.
And they loved they can eat their favorite indulgences like pizza and chocolate and still get nearly 4X faster results than traditional "diets" because their indulgences actually help them (I show them how).
So if you want to drop some weight "like
NOW", just follow that. The results my clients are getting are pretty wild.
And you can eat what you want this summer. :)
Later tater,
Mikey
