OK, so imagine you’re lining up for a race and you’re all set up at the starting line.
You take off into a full sprint and push as fast as you possibly can. (Even if you're not a runner - bare with me here!)...
You are FLYING.
Pushing through pain and fatigue because you are determined to finish this race.
You look to your left…
You look to your
right…
And there’s not another person in sight!
You are alone in front of everyone and you can even see the finish line.
How exciting!
As you cross the finish line and start jumping for joy, you realize that no else is behind you.
Something doesn’t seem quite right.
You start walking back to the starting line and everyone is still there.
What is going on?
All of the sudden, you realize what happened.
You get this sinking feeling in your gut.
It was a false start.
You started running too soon and have to line up and do it all over again.
Ughhhh.
You try to catch your breath but you don’t have much energy left.
You poured it all out already.
Feeling demoralized and defeated…
You think, why bother...
Realistically, you have no chance of winning now.
This is exactly what it feels like to try to lose fat without first discovering your "weight loss personality".
