I hate saying no to
people.
Â
Like seriously... I'd rather do burpees than tell someone they can't join my coaching program. (And if you've ever done burpees, you know that's saying something.)
Â
But in December told two different people they couldn't join. My exact words were "Sorry, I'm full right now."
Â
It felt like telling my wife we're out of coffee.... just... gut-wrenching.
Â
Here's the deal - I only take on a handful of clients at a time.
Â
Why?Â
Â
Because I refuse to be one of those coaches who treats their clients like numbers in a spreadsheet.
Â
Now I got more applications in December than I have in the past. I don't know if people are wanting to get a jumpstart or beat the crowds or what. But I had a full roster by mid December. It was crazy. I hate saying no, but I also want to fully serve
my existing clients.
Â
Now since I have some students graduating from my coaching program, I have a few spots for January.
Â
But let me be blunt. You won't get started today or tomorrow.
Â
I
know, it sounds weird, right? Like why not?
Â
Any coach that is serious about what they do won't be able to get you started right away unless it's a cookie-cutter program.Â
Â
So if you have someone trying to sell you on 1-on-1 coaching, but claims you can have your plan that day,
RUN.
Â
I first have you send me a personality assessment so I can design a custom game plan based on your "weight loss personality".Â
Â
And that takes me at least a day or two.
Â
So you're looking at the earliest to get started would be more than likely Monday, 1/6, depending on how fast you respond to the assessment.Â
Â
And that's only if you're a good fit. I don't like to force people into a coaching program, nor do I want to feel forced to help you. I want to make sure my program is what you're looking for and that I can help you.
Â
Here's how I do just that:
Â
Step 1: You submit an application here (I also strongly encourage you to
watch the short video as it gives you an idea of why you're "weight loss resistant")
Â
Step 2: I look over your application. I may ask you a couple of questions to clarify things via email. If I feel I can help you, I send you a document that gives you an overview of my coaching program.
Â
Step 3: If it sounds like something you're looking for, I send you a link to get started.
Â
Just keep in mind it is January and it's first-come-first-serve.Â
Â
Talk to you soon,
Coach
Mike
