This is what's missing from the industry (and it's sad)
Am I missing something, or was it like a "Say Something Nice to Your Spouse" week last week?
I had 3 clients mention something like this about their spouse in their check-ins...
The one above I'm sharing is really cool because of this...
"The saying 'no' and even the
saying 'yes' and knowing it isn't making you feel guilty and you don't seem like you feel deprived either."
That's success that "sticks".
If you want to stop gaining the weight back every time you lose it, there’s one thing that’s missing.
No, it’s not more discipline.
You already have more than enough discipline whether you believe it or not.
It’s actually much more basic than that.
Think about every single diet or program that you’ve gone through in an attempt to lose weight.
In many cases, I’m guessing some weight was lost.
And over time, it crept back on.
There are 2 things to consider…
The methods they used to get you to lose weight
The plan / protocol AFTER the weight came off
I’m guessing that the methods they used weren't realistic...
Like you constantly were put in a position of choosing between having a life or getting results. And no one wants to make that decision all the time.
We want both (and deserve both).
I’m also guessing you got zero
education on maintaining your results.
More importantly, they didn’t walk you through the process of solidifying your results to the point where your body would fight to keep you leaner instead of fighting to put the weight back on.
This is the missing piece for
most.
Most people never learn how to train their bodies to fight for that new body fat set point.
Once you lose the weight, the work isn’t done.
You have to reinforce to your body that your new
weight is safe and that your body can relax now.
The process is simple… you go into maintenance and find the balance that you desire with fun foods, dining out, etc. And continue to live at that new normal until your body fights to keep you there.
How long will it
take?
It depends on you.
For most of my clients it’s only a few months.
But the cool thing is.. Once they reach that point, they never have to start over ever again.
My client, Andrea, had this realization…
She also said in an email last week…
"I'm still surprised that I haven't gained it all back with everything going on... I definitely have you to thank for that!!"
What that quote doesn’t show you is that Andrea was hopeless when she
signed up for coaching. She questioned how this time would be different. She was tired of gaining and losing the same 20-30 lbs over and over again. She said that she just wanted to be done with this roller coaster.
And now she is.
I mean, is there a better feeling in the
world?
Well you can experience it for yourself and then answer that question.
First, we’re going to create a plan that’s tailored to your personality so it’ll be easier to stay consistent and you’ll actually enjoy the process.
Then, we’ll make sure your body is responding well and internal health is in check which makes body composition results way more sustainable.
Finally, we’ll give you the final piece to the puzzle… stabilizing your results and teaching you how to maintain them forever. Basically, I’ll hand you the keys to the kingdom so you never have to start
over or worry about gaining the weight back again.
If you’re interested in results like that, the next step is simple...
Step 2: If it does, hit the "Apply Here" button at that link and you'll answer a few questions.
Step 3: If I can help you and think you'd be a good fit, I'll send you a short PDF
that shows you how my coaching program works. If it resonates with you and you'd like to move forward, then we'll get you started.
Have a great day, Coach Mikey
