Are you taking advantage of this time of year?
I know, I know. It's not the "greatest" time to tighten up your nutrition. But...
What
you CAN do is start "installing" some habits that will serve you well in 2025. Things like...
✅ Move more - maybe it's a quick mobility/flexibility routine just before bed or even parking further away on purpose when running errands (I still do this to this day).
✅ Drink more water - raise your
standards by one full glass. Drink 6 glasses a day? Drink 7. This can be easily implemented using a reminder on your phone. I once had a client that averaged drinking just 24oz of water a day! She now drinks nearly 60oz a day by taking small steps. (And she lost over 40lbs).
✅ Take longer to eat your meals/snacks (this is a powerful tool, yet so many people don't take advantage of this one). Easy
hack to do this: chew EVERY bite at least 20 times. This automatically slows down eating.
✅ Get better sleep by setting a hard deadline of caffeine intake 6-8 hours before bedtime.
✅ Start a gratitude journal (writing down one thing you're thankful for every day).
These are things that don't require a revamp of your diet nor does it impact your favorite traditions, yet they will serve you well in 2025. The time to "install" these habits is NOW, as it will fuel your goals in the new year.
