"I want to get back into PickleBall. It's been
about 5 years since I've played and I miss it. I just don't have the energy to play and I feel like I'm missing out."
This was a conversation I had weeks ago with a 75-year old woman.
Yeah, 75.
And she didn't say "get into". She said, "get BACK into". That means she was
playing at 70!
She gained around 35lbs due to some stress in her life.
She decided not to settle and do something about it. Her diet wasn't terrible either, just some small shifts that will make all the difference.
Her goal is to be on the pickleball court in the fall, when the weather is
cooler.
Proactive > Reactive :)
I share this because many of us DO settle. Whether it's "genetics" or a "slow metabolism" or "old age".
Don't settle.
In fact...
Take a stroll
around Nishiki Market in Kyoto, Japan, and you know what you’d see?
Folks in their 50s, 60s, and 70s—all in excellent health; with the boundless energy of people decades younger.
And if you had X-ray vision…
You’d see some of the healthiest hearts in the world.
Here's why.
Never settle,
Mikey
