Did you know 6
chocolate chip cookies has about 360 calories?
And with the summer treats that piled up, I'm betting you might be having more than 6 cookies here and there... or other indulgences :)
Good news - your body burns off a stack of cookies and MORE following just a short burst of exercise if done right.
Here's what needs to be tweaked:
- Intensity (but not too much)
- Active Rest
As long as you use what's called "Metabolic Stacking", found from a study from Colorado University.
In fact, metabolic stacking burns fat FASTER than traditional interval training.
If you only have 10 minutes to invest, you simply stack no more than TWO finishers together.
If you have 20 minutes, you can stack TWO to THREE finishers together.
If you can invest 30 minutes, you can "stack" up to FOUR finishers together. (I once had a client "stack" 5 together and she was
done in 24 minutes and said she wasn't hungry the rest of the day, even eating a light dinner).
Another plus - this unique "stacking" method DRASTICALLY DECREASES your appetite and cravings for carbs and sugar.
No matter which option is best for you, I recommend resting for 2 minutes between finishers.
The secret sauce to this exercise method is that it's a blend of resistance training, conditioning, and interval training all in one short sequence.
Happy burning,
Mike
