I'm turning 50 later
this year... which is wild to me.
They say the older you get, the faster time goes by. Well, they're right.
One thing I've learned - most people focus on diet and exercise when it comes to losing 30, 40, even 50lbs or more.
And sure, those things play a role, but...
If you have 30+lbs to lose, and nothing seems to work, there's a strong chance your metabolism is in need of being "optimized", which is keeping you back from losing weight, but it could also have you feel like a drained battery.
It's kind of like
this...
You want to build a new house so you immediately start putting in the framework and doors. Yet the framework keeps tumbling down because the foundation wasn't set.
But you're so focused on the framework that you keep trying over and over, yet getting nowhere because your foundation wasn't "set in"
first.
Your metabolism is your foundation.
Set the foundation, then build the house.
It's much easier this way.
It's funny because the idea of investing one to four weeks of setting that foundation isn't appealing because they are dying to lose the weight.
Yet they forget they have been stuck for months, possibly even years.
So it's either stay stuck to continue staying stuck
or stay stuck for one to four weeks (depending on a few factors) then suddenly start seeing the weight go down...
Which is better for you?
This is why when someone joins my new Equip coaching program, they are immediately sent a nutrition and exercise assessment that I personally review
before your next steps.
It helps me assess what's going on and sometimes, that means setting up your foundation so you lose it easier without having to cut calories more and more (which most other people do and it's frustrating for them).
If you want to stay stuck and continue on your own, I get
it.
But if you like the idea of being "equipped" so you not only optimize your metabolism and lose it easier, I'd like to welcome you to my coaching program called, Equip.
Equip is specifically designed for those that have been stuck or perhaps "diet on and off" and are ready for something
sustainable.
Now if you're looking for a "30-day challenge" or an "6-week low carb program", this is NOT for you.
We go deeper than meal plans and workouts. We address self-sabotage, lack of motivation, and of course, setting up your own personal foundation.
I'll be equipping you to lose the weight, but more importantly, keep it off even with life's circumstances.
If this sounds good, simply reply with "Interested" and I can send you some more info.
Have a great weekend,
Mikey
