If you feel you're
"stuck" with loose skin, I'd like to share some good news...
You're not stuck with it forever.
Don't get me wrong, I still do have some loose skin, but considering I've lost 115+lbs, it could be much worse.
Let's dig in...
Tip #1 - Consistent Exercise
A 2015 study from Aging Cell found that exercise might lessen the effect of age-related skin changes.
The authors
noted that exercise reduced skin changes by improving tissue metabolism, primarily by stimulating the release of a hormone called interleukin-15 from skeletal muscle.
Tip #2 - Antioxidants
Antioxidants can help reduce skin sagging and wrinkles by
neutralizing reactive oxygen species (ROS). ROS are compounds that can activate pathways that eventually degrade collagen.
Antioxidants can also help stimulate the growth of collagen and elastin, helping "tighten" loose skin.
Tip #3 - Lose Body Fat at a Healthy Pace
Jumpstarts are great.
Short challenges can be awesome (if done right and healthy)...
... but going at extremes for a long period of time not only bring on what's called "metabolic fatigue", but it can also lead to loose
skin.
A consistent, healthy pace is where you want to be (not what you like to hear, I know).
Tip #4 Rejuvenation
Rejuvenating your skin:
- Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles starting in just 7 days
- Tightens sagging neck, arm, and cheek skin
- Smooths out crow’s feet and laugh lines
- Protects the skin against oxidative stress (e.g., pollution, UV radiation)
Improves skin density and thickness
- Minimizes visible signs of photoaging and age-related pigment spots and dark circles
- Firms, tones, and hydrates
- Promotes smoother, more youthful-looking skin
Rejuvenation is the fastest "jumpstart" to tightening your skin and this is how to do
it.
Later,
