According to numerous studies intermittent fasting is an efficient weight loss method.
Unfortunately, not many people can go without food for 5, 8, 12 or even 24 hours at a time.
When you do fast, this triggers a
regeneration process that not only supports weight loss, but also renews every single cell in your body making you look years younger.
But, can you get fasting results without actually fasting?
Sure.
Let me share some context...
Fasting has a number of benefits beyond the scale (as you know). However, the #1 benefit my clients want to use it for is losing weight.
That means we can do little things such as put creamer in your coffee. (I don't know about you - but black coffee
is not for me).
If creamer + coffee allows you to reduce your calories by 200-500 calories a day by skipping an entire meal nearly effortlessly, I'm all for it.
It's really up to your personality.
Just remember - it's all about the big picture and what you want to accomplish.
If you're wanting ALL the benefits of fasting, then you need to actually fast.
But if you just want the weight-loss benefits of fasting, enjoy the creamer. :)
Now you can "trick" your brain into thinking you're fasting when you're not.
This is what people are doing to get fasting results without
actually fasting.
Hope this gives you some perspective,
Mikey
